I lead our global real estate business and am ultimately responsible for the overall strategy, growth and resilience of our segment. I focus on helping our clients deliver future-ready assets and achieving better outcomes on real estate construction projects of all sizes. At a programme level, we support businesses in achieving centralised control and clear visibility to optimise their global real estate portfolio and associated capital investments.

With over three decades of experience in our business, I have gained a deep insight into our extensive capabilities of transforming the performance of major projects and programmes and delivering great outcomes for our clients.

I dedicate a significant part of my role to spending time with our real estate clients to understand what they need, and how we develop our capabilities, proposition and engagement approach to support them all across the world.

As a senior business leader, I bring global experience across business development, performance and productivity improvement, strategic change initiatives, and major programme delivery.

Q. What attracted you to join Turner & Townsend?

A. The reason I was attracted to Turner & Townsend still holds true today. We are many people but one business, and we continue to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration with a core focus on service excellence.

Q. How has your career at Turner and Townsend developed?

A. I have had the opportunity to work in various roles throughout my career and this diversity of experience has allowed me to develop my capabilities and knowledge of our industry. I started my career in the UK alongside our project management business as our twelfth team member, before branching out to developing our UK advisory business. Since 2012, I have taken on global leadership roles in major programmes and business development, and currently oversee our real estate business.

Q. Detail any specialist skills or experience for which you are know

A. I excel at identifying opportunities, making decisions and taking action. The ability to resolve complex challenges is crucial in the context of driving a high growth, large-scale global business forward. I complement these skills with my extensive knowledge of our real estate clients, which I’ve earned through building these relationships over many years, understanding what our clients need and adapting our approach to supporting them better.

Q. Describe your typical day.

A. Finding a balance in activities is key for me, particularly in a global role where I am supporting multiple regional teams and engaging with clients all over the world. Each day brings its own unique experiences and challenges, but an ideal day would consist of equal parts of team engagement, client engagement and winning work.

Q. What do you most enjoy most about working at Turner & Townsend?

A. The people, whether it be our great teams of colleagues or our amazing clients. As I’ve developed my career in our business, I’ve seen at all stages that when we collaborate together in a partnership, we can truly transform our capabilities and bring about the change we want to see in our communities.
