Managing Director, Scandinavia
There is significant investment and opportunity in Scandinavia and it’s fantastic to see our team here growing.
I started my career with Turner & Townsend in 2015, providing project and cost and commercial management services to corporate occupier clients in Norway before helping establish our business in Sweden in 2017.
My role has since expanded from leading Sweden to managing our wider Scandinavian business, including supporting Norway in guiding their client base through the energy transition and growing our team in Denmark in the life sciences sector.
Q. What attracted you to join Turner & Townsend?
A. The ambition of the company, as well as the commitment to invest in talent and leadership.
Q. How has your career at Turner and Townsend developed?
A. It has been a fast-paced journey joining as a Project Manager and now serving as the Managing Director for Scandinavia. However, the support provided to me by our company throughout has been excellent and ensured that my career has been fulfilling as our regional business has grown.
Q. Which project are you most proud of being involved in at Turner & Townsend?
A. We’ve supported an American technology company across a portfolio of their real estate projects in Scandinavia, which is a relationship I’m most proud of playing a part in, and we are expanding this relationship to include data centre projects for them as well.
Q. How do you contribute to Turner & Townsend making a difference?
A. My main contribution has been to grow our Sweden office from just one person to over 50 people. Establishing our business in a new country has been a challenge, but it has also been an opportunity to bring in local insights to our global brand.
Q. What do you most enjoy most about working at Turner & Townsend?
A. Our company culture, which nurtures ambition, promotes collaboration, and proves that we are stronger together. We are a global consultancy and I’ve seen this positive energy across our offices.
Q. How do you see the business developing over the next five years?
A. Digital transformation has been a key investment for our business, being mindful that with rapid advances in technology, clients will continue to expect more for less from consultants. So we have proactively invested in The Hive, our internal cloud platform to meet this demand. A lot of tasks that were once labour intensive are now more readily processed, leaving more opportunity to analyse outputs and better advise our clients.
