Help make a difference 

We offer an impactful two-year graduate development programme focused on cost and commercial management, consulting, or project management.

The opportunities available to graduates at Turner & Townsend are unparalleled. From Sydney Metro and Perth’s Children’s Hospital to Hong Kong International Airport, our graduates are working on world-class projects across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

You’ll also receive direct mentorship from industry leaders alongside peer-to-peer coaching to enhance your learning.

Programme areas 

We offer a wide range of development programmes to help grow our graduates’ and placement students’ technical and professional development.  

Cost and commercial management 

Work on a wide range of tasks in cost and commercial management, developing your skills to become a well-rounded consultant in the construction consultancy sector. 

Consulting  

Focus on asset and facilities management or programme performance, with rotational roles to refine your consultancy skills. Offered in Australia only. 

Project management 

Learn the nuances of successful project management from the initial planning stage to final execution, all while ensuring client satisfaction.  

Eligibility criteria

Be early in your career

We are interested in hearing from candidates who have less than two years of industry experience.

Have the right to work

You must be a citizen or permanent resident, or be eligible for a graduate visa in the relevant country.

Clear motivation

Demonstrate a clear motivation for joining Turner & Townsend and a passion for working in the construction industry.

Graduate qualifications

Studies must be completed one month before commencement, including internships and work experience placements.

Intern and cadet qualifications

Be in the penultimate or final year of a relevant undergraduate degree.

Availability

From February, be available to work a minimum of three days a week alongside studies, and full-time during study breaks.

How to apply 

Step 1: Fill out an online application form 

Start by finding the listing suited to your skills and interests, then uploading your CV and answering our relevant questions. Make sure to specify your preferred locations.  

Step 2: Video interview 

If you pass our online assessments you will be invited for a video interview. This will focus on a mix of competency questions and assessing your understanding of Turner & Townsend’s offering. 

Step 3: In-person assessment 

You’ll be invited to our assessment centre where you will participate in a number of competency-based activities. These are designed to see if you’ll be a good fit for our team.  

Looking ahead 

Once you have completed these steps, you will hear if you’ve been successful within roughly 10 working days.  

When can I apply? 

Vacancies will be open at specific times throughout the year, depending on whether the programme is in ANZ or Asia. The ANZ programme commences in February and the Asia programme commences in August.
