Appointed by Citycon to create new Stockholm district
We have been appointed by Nordic developer Citycon to support their 70,000sqm transformative redevelopment programme in Stockholm named RE: Liljeholmen.
The project will transform the existing area of Liljeholmen Centrum into a new city district. RE: Liljeholmen will include new office, hotel, healthcare, residential, and increased retail space incorporating best-in-class sustainability credentials.
The project will involve over-decking of the existing tunnelbana (metro) line while keeping the adjacent shopping mall and amenities open for business. Construction is expected to begin in 2024 and be completed in 2029.
The development aims to attract a new wave of young professionals, businesses and families to the area by offering a wide range of leisure and cultural activities, access to open green space and its proximity to Stockholm’s city centre.
We have been appointed to provide cost and risk management, development feasibility and project assurance services.
