Appointed to deliver Griffith University’s new N82 Arrivals Building
We have been appointed to provide superintendency services for Griffith University’s new 22,000m2 N82 Arrivals Building. It will provide state-of-the-art teaching and research support for the ongoing education and skills development of southeast Queensland’s population.
Set to be the cornerstone of the university’s strategic vision, the N82 Arrivals Building will be Griffith University’s flagship building, accommodating teaching, research and student functions that will relocate from the Mt Gravatt Campus to the Nathan Campus before the Mt Gravatt Campus closure.
The Nathan Campus vision is reflected in the new masterplan and will deliver a building programme to accommodate teaching, research and students, increase external engagement and consolidate learning environments into the campus heart.
The project involves the demolition of the original environment building from the 1970s to allow for the construction of the new building. Due to the closure of the existing building, additional campus-wide refurbishments and developments are underway.
Construction will be completed by the first quarter of 2026, with the facility expected to be fully operational for the commencement of university activities in July at the start of the second trimester of 2026.
Robin Sweasey, Project Director, said:
The N82 Arrivals Building is the largest project ever undertaken by Griffith University and is a critical enabler for its strategic growth plans.
“Our engagement by Griffith University for this flagship project demonstrates our ability to work in a collaborative manner and bring the sophisticated skills required to successfully deliver projects of this complexity and importance.”
