Appointed to Denver Department of Transportation and Infrastructure’s Capital Improvement Program
Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure enhances the quality of life in Denver by safely and efficiently delivering effective, high quality, sustainable and equitable public infrastructure and services.
Turner & Townsend's US infrastructure team has been appointed on a three-year contract to provide programme and project controls and performance services to the City and County of Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI).
The team will serve as an integral member of DOTI’s Program Management Division and Owner’s Representative of their Capital Improvement Program (CIP).
Turner & Townsend's work will help accommodate the tremendous growth in the region over the past decade and include capital programmes and projects for transportation, parks and recreation, sustainability, waterways, buildings, and public art.
These will allow residents to be safe and well-connected in neighbourhoods that are equitable, affordable and inclusive in an economically diverse and resilient city.
The Program Management Division oversees the delivery of Denver's DOTI programmes and project management, ensuring Denver residents are provided with effective, high quality, sustainable and equitable public infrastructure and services. Through strategic leadership, partnerships, and implementation of industry best practices, it sets the performance roadmap for project delivery administration.
This win extends the global professional services company's contributions to major programmes in Colorado’s transportation and infrastructure sector, along with its project controls experience at Denver International Airport.
Stuart Wood, Director, USA said:
We look forward to supporting Denver's Department of Transportation and Infrastructure on their Capital Improvement Program and leveraging its extensive global infrastructure experience to help them keep Denver a great place to live.
“The team is ready to partner with the Program Management Division, share best practices and help delivery teams excel with the successful implementation of project controls.”
