Bettina Würfel to lead Turner & Townsend in Germany and Austria
Bettina Würfel has been appointed to the role of Managing Director at Turner & Townsend GmbH, with responsibility for the operational business of the global professional services company across both Germany and Austria.
Bettina joined Turner & Townsend in 2003 and has over two decades of experience in the built environment, having led and worked on a number of high-profile projects across Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland and the US.
For the last six years, she has led Turner & Townsend’s Munich office. In June 2024, the company announced its plan to combine with CBRE’s project management business at around calendar year-end.
Bettina succeeds Dr Stefan Reimoser, who was at the Turner & Townsend helm in Germany and Austria for the past 12 years. Stefan has recently taken over responsibility to lead on business development with a particular focus on major projects and programmes in the local markets.
Over the last decade, Turner & Townsend’s business in Germany and Austria has more than trebled in size with a core focus on project and cost and commercial management, advising domestic and international clients to drive world-class major programmes and projects. Turner & Townsend in Germany & Austria has over 350 employees.
