Continuing to reduce our UK gender pay gap 2022-23

We have narrowed our gender pay gap in the UK for the sixth year running, as revealed in our gender pay gap report for 2022-2023.

The report shows a further improvement within our UK business as a whole with a 0.9 percent decrease in our mean gender pay gap over the last year to 18.7 percent, and a 2.9 percent decrease in our median gender pay gap respectively to 16.9 percent.

Patricia Moore, UK Managing Director, said:

Addressing our gender pay gap remains a priority across our business and we are maintaining momentum on improvements seen over several years.

"Understanding what the gender pay gap is, is also crucial. The more women in seniority and higher earnings, the less our pay gap will be. Our gap is narrowing through active efforts to balance the distribution of senior women."

"I’m hugely encouraged by initiatives throughout the period covered by the report and over the last 12 months that have resulted in more women being promoted, including partners, than ever before in our UK business."

We operate in an industry that as a whole struggles to attract and retain diverse talent, but by showcasing strong leadership, recognising achievements and creating a culture of care and respect, we can reset the agenda.

“Our belief is that by striving to bring out the best in everyone, supporting each other to make the most of their potential, and always learning from experiences, we can transform performance on our clients’ projects and programmes and create a more inclusive world for everyone.”
