Turner & Townsend enhances vital projects across Cornwall
Turner & Townsend has been appointed as a key delivery partner on Cornwall Council’s Built Environment Professional Services framework to support the implementation of its Capital Programme, which includes critical initiatives spanning connectivity, corporate property, environment, housing and schools.
Working in partnership with Arcadis, Inner Circle Consulting and a number of local suppliers the long-term framework will assist Cornwall Council to build projects across the region and accelerate the delivery of a range of essential infrastructure and building programmes that will generate new jobs across Cornwall.
The partnership will deliver a range of benefits such as generating more jobs through local employment and driving social value through the growth of local businesses. It will also provide the capacity and capability to enable the provision of all resources necessary to deliver quality outcomes. In addition to supporting the council with internal processes and procedures as well as culture change through two-way knowledge transfer and upskilling of their in-house team.
The partnership’s locally based teams will provide full multi-disciplinary services including architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, development management, project management, cost management, site supervision and health and safety assessments.
