India business wins RICS Project Management Team of the Year for landmark aviation project

Our India team has been awarded ‘Project Management Team of the Year’ at the recent RICS South Asia Awards 2023 for their outstanding work on an engineering and technology centre for a global aviation giant.

The award recognises companies that demonstrate excellence in quality control, time management, budget control, procurement and commercial management to deliver exceptional outcomes valued by the client.

Our India team is providing project management, cost and commercial management, and contract management services for our client’s first and largest state-of-the-art facility outside the United States

As our client’s first owned campus in India, the project consolidates its operations from multiple locations across the country. It also has engineering and special-use labs, offices and related amenities, and utility buildings. When completed, the centre aims to be a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) campus with LEED Gold sustainability certification.

Our India team aligned closely with our client’s business objectives from the outset, while collaborating with aviation technical experts worldwide, and this has ensured shorter turnarounds while maintaining a high standard of work.

Ashish Jain, Country Manager, India, said:

Receiving this RICS award demonstrates the trust that our client and the industry has placed in our ability to transform performance on complex projects.

"It is also a great honour for our team to have personally received this award from Shri Nitin Gadkari, our Minister for Road Transport & Highways."

This award represents a significant milestone achievement for our business, which is celebrating 15 years in India this year.

"Our India team has also recently received the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Excellence Award in Environment, Health & Safety for two years in a row."

"We look forward to completing this landmark project that will help bolster India’s rising position as a global advanced manufacturing hub and support its national decarbonization strategy."
