Nairobi office move to support the growing Kenya team

Turner & Townsend has relocated its office in Nairobi to support the growth of its Kenya business, which is now in its fourth decade, while continuing to provide great outcomes for clients in the country.

Turner & Townsend's Kenya business has supported clients in the region for 37 years, with a track record of successfully delivering major projects across a variety of sectors, with a particular focus on corporate occupiers, data centresindustrial and logistics projects, and renewable and clean energy schemes.

Some of the transformational programmes the company has delivered here include East African Breweries, IX Africa Data Centres and Africa Logistics Properties.

The new office at 11th Floor, Sanlam Tower, Waiyaki Way will accommodate the Nairobi-based team, which has grown to more than 40 people in the last five years. During this period, the global professional service company was named ‘Best Construction Project Managers’ on multiple occasions at the Real Estate 100 Awards, recognising the pivotal role we play in driving industry transformation in Kenya's real estate sector.

The growth in the team is part of Turner & Townsend's strategic commitment to continue enhancing its service provision to clients across Kenya and the East African region. This includes offering net zero and digital solutions tailored to fit specific client needs, in addition to its programme management, project, and cost and commercial management expertise.

As four-time nominees to the British Chamber of Commerce Kenya's Business Integrity Index, inclusivity and integrity are important commitments in our business. The new office features different hub spaces to encourage collaborative working, includes a parents' room for childcare support, and is supported by the hybrid office ventilation design that takes advantage of 75 percent natural ventilation.

Robert Gichohi, Country Director, Kenya comments:

This is a pivotal move for our Kenya team as we looks to grow the business and provide enhanced support to our clients across the East African region. The new Nairobi office is well-positioned to propel the business into its fifth decade while also strengthening our commitment to service excellence.
