New office in Tokyo unveiled to support Turner & Townsend's growth in Japan
Turner & Townsend has opened a new office in Tokyo to continue the successful delivery of major projects and programmes for its clients in Japan with a focus on the real estate occupier market.
Turner & Townsend's service offering in the country includes net-zero and digital solutions alongside project, programme, cost and commercial management, typically spanning data centres, hospitality, leisure, life sciences, industrial, mixed-use developments and retail.
The new office is located at G-BASE TAMACHI in Shinagawa, Tokyo, and is the global professional service company's second location in Japan following the opening of its Osaka home last year. In total, Turner & Townsend has 66 people on the ground and continue to build a strong client base as the company expand its service offerings in the country.
With project delivery underway of the UK, Singapore and Australia pavilions for World Expo 2025 in Osaka, the new office is an ideal destination for ease of access between the capital and Osaka to benefit Turner & Townsend's team and clients.
Furthermore, Turner & Townsend's new home in Tokyo is focused on meeting long-term sustainability objectives including the installation of a zip tap to reduce plastic waste, the use of recycled furniture as part of the fit-out including all desks and chairs, and the office building is ranked ‘A’ through the Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency, the equivalent to environmental performance of very good in Japan.
Nick Heald, Country Director, Turner & Townsend, comments:
