Plymouth office opens to grow south west footprint
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new office in Plymouth to support our growth in South West England.
With more than 460 people employed already in the south west of England, including 40 in the Plymouth area, we have been working with clients in the region for over 30 years.
This new permanent base will enhance our service provision to current clients, and is a strong statement of our strategic commitment to attract new clients across Devon, Dorset and Cornwall.
The office is located in the Genesis Building on Union Street. Owned by the social enterprise the Millfields Trust, the profits from leasing the office space are invested back into the local community through the Trust’s programme of regeneration projects.
We are targeting new recruits in the region as we expand our service offerings in project and programme management, project controls, procurement, cost and commercial management, to support clients across real estate, infrastructure and defence.
Patricia Moore, UK Managing Director, said: “Turner & Townsend has operated in the south west for over 30 years and this latest expansion represents our ongoing commitment to the people and businesses of Plymouth and the wider region.
Having a permanent presence in the city will enable us to further enhance our service offering for clients across infrastructure, defence and real estate.
“As a business that is green, inclusive and productive at its core, the Genesis Building is a natural fit for us and we are pleased to be investing in the local community through the Millfields Trust social enterprise.”
