Turner & Townsend appointed to United Utilities Assurance framework
Turner & Townsend has been successfully appointed to Lot 2 of United Utilities’ Assurance framework, designed to support the company’s AMP8 and AMP9 capital delivery programme. Lot 2 focuses on the commercial and capital delivery resources.
United Utilities is responsible for water and wastewater services across the Northwest of England, ensuring the provision of essential infrastructure to millions of customers. They supply over 1.8bn litres of water per day to their customers.
Under this new framework, Turner & Townsend will provide a comprehensive range of commercial and capital delivery services, including cost and commercial management, project management and project controls.
These services will play a crucial role in enabling the successful and efficient delivery of United Utilities’ ambitious capital investment programme. The framework will run for five years, with the possibility of a five-year extension.
The framework also contributes to local communities by supporting the development of critical water infrastructure, ensuring resilience, driving economic benefits across the Northwest and surrounding areas.
James Corrigan, Managing Director, Infrastructure, UK at Turner & Townsend, said:
“We look forward to supporting United Utilities with its aspirations to deliver a resilient and sustainable infrastructure programme."
We are proud to bring our extensive experience in commercial and capital delivery services to support United Utilities in delivering safe and quality water.
"This framework aligns with our commitment to shaping a better, more efficient water network for the region.”
