Turner & Townsend strengthens Irish presence with strategic Dublin office relocation

Turner & Townsend has relocated its Dublin office to 1 George's Quay (1GQ) in Dublin 2, marking a significant milestone in the global professional services company's expansion in Ireland. This move comes as the company experiences substantial growth, having tripled its workforce in Ireland over the past three years to nearly 400 employees nationwide.

The steady expansion of Turner & Townsend's Irish operations is a signal of the company's deepening relationships with existing clients and its success in diversifying expertise to attract new business.

This growth has positioned the company at the forefront of Ireland's real estate, construction and infrastructure sectors, having been appointed to some of the country's most critical real estate and infrastructure projects, including Client Partner of TII’s MetroLink project and as Integrated Delivery Partner of daa’s capital delivery programme

Philip Matthews, Managing Director for Ireland, emphasised the significance of this growth:

Our new Dublin office at 1GQ reflects our substantial expansion while also creating an environment that encourages innovation and collaboration with clients and colleagues alike.

“This growth stems from both strengthening existing partnerships and broadening our range of services to meet evolving needs in the Irish market."

The new office, offering stunning views over the River Liffey and Dublin's iconic landmarks, has been designed to enable teamwork and enhance collaboration. It features a variety of workspaces, including sit-stand desks, collaboration areas, a library and fully-equipped meeting rooms.

With its LEED Platinum certification, the new location at 1GQ also demonstrates Turner & Townsend’s commitment to sustainability and aligns with the company's net-zero ambitions. This focus on environmental responsibility is increasingly important in the Irish construction sector and positions the firm as a leader in sustainable building practices and operations.

Turner & Townsend’s expanding expertise is evident in its involvement in transformative projects across Ireland, with a diverse team of multidisciplinary professionals bringing a wealth of knowledge in areas such as project management, cost and commercial management and sustainable construction practices.

As Turner & Townsend enters this new chapter in Ireland, the company is well-positioned to continue its trajectory of growth and to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Ireland's built environment.
