Turner & Townsend unlocks public sector excellence through appointment to the NEPRO3 framework
Turner & Townsend has been appointed as a key supplier on the NEPRO3 professional services framework to provide UK public sector organisations with access to its full range of contract services.
Developed by the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) and delivered by Bloom Procurement Services, the framework is a single supplier framework awarded under Public Contract regulations 2015.
It provides UK’s public sector organisations (including local government and social care, central government, NHS trusts, higher education and schools, blue light services and housing associations) with an easy-access procurement route to a pool of trusted professional services suppliers, eliminating the need for complex tender processes, saving them both time and resources.
As a preferred supplier, Turner & Townsend's UK advisory team will provide potential clients with access to a full range of contract services including, business commercial strategy, procurement and supply chain strategy, market engagement, procurement execution, contracts development, claims and disputes, and project recovery.
The appointment further adds to other capabilities Turner & Townsend already provide via the same framework which includes cost and commercial and project management.
Paul Murthwaite, Associate Director, Advisory, Turner & Townsend, UK, said:
“Following an extensive accreditation process, we are delighted to secure another place on the NEPRO3 framework which creates further opportunity with the public sector via direct awards or mini competitions, especially in the lead up to the government’s update on the Procurement Act 2023 planned for October 2024.”
Our UK contract services team possess extensive knowledge and experience in public sector procurement having recently been involved in delivering on major programmes such as South Yorkshire Combined Authority’s mass transit renewal programme and Network Rail’s Midlands Rail Hub.
“The compliant framework also largely prioritises social value outcomes, something which we’re well versed in for many of our existing clients and hope to achieve more of through this appointment.”
