Oman Refineries and Petro Chemicals (ORPIC), Oman

Supporting ORPIC's ambitious investment programme.

ORPIC is one of Oman’s largest companies, with over 1,600 employees, and refineries in both Muscat and Sohar. It has a significant capital investment programme with work involving three major projects over the next four years. Work includes a multiproduct fuels pipeline from Sohar to Muscat, the improvement of its Sohar Refinery and the Liwa Plastics Project as well as a large ongoing programme of fabric and equipment maintenance works, material and bulk procurement and plant turnarounds.

Our contribution

We foremostly provided pre-contract purchasing and procurement support to ORPIC with a team seconded in the ORPIC project offices in Sohar, Oman.

We also assisted in the procurement of a wide variety of oil and gas refinery and pipeline related projects through the procurement process from inception up to contract award.

Our team then worked with ORPIC to develop systems to work within the ORPIC governance and SAP requirements.

    delivering a quality procurement service.
