Building a new Harare headquarters with Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe 

Ensuring cost transparency and value

Supplying cost and commercial management, as well as project management services, our Harare and Johannesburg teams have been instrumental in providing full financial transparency on environmental design initiatives. This includes analysing cost data to assist the business case in regard to materials selection, PV installation and landscaping. We have been actively involved in developing solutions  to achieve the project’s sustainability targets from the briefing stage through to design, procurement and construction.  

Committing to the local economy 

The procurement process aims to drive as much local spending and local job creation as possible. A minimum of 20 percent of the contract value is to be sourced within 400km of the site.  

Once complete, the building will achieve the first Green Star office rating in Zimbabwe. The project’s ambitions also include exceeding Green Star certification through the development of a totally net-zero building, including the tenant’s energy use.
