Turner & Townsend acquires Capisce QS to enhance its cost and commercial management offering in South Australia
Global professional services company, Turner & Townsend, has acquired South Australian cost management business, Capisce QS.
Effective from 4 December 2024, the deal will strengthen Turner & Townsend’s cost and commercial advisory offer in South Australia and nationally, ensuring major projects and programmes are delivered on time and within budget whilst helping to achieve client outcomes.
Founded in 2018, Capisce QS is a South Australian success story and has built an impressive reputation across the state. Under the leadership of managing director, Luke MacConnell, the business has seen significant growth in the real estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources sectors. The company now has a team of 21 professionals, dedicated to delivering exceptional value to clients. With a focus on human-centric solutions, the company utilises data and technology to achieve innovative and sustainable project outcomes.
The combined cost and commercial management tools, and capabilities of Turner & Townsend and Capisce QS will deliver enhanced insights and data, enabling clients to achieve outcomes that support economic growth and the South Australian community. This acquisition establishes an enviable cost, project and major programmes advisory offering in South Australia.
The Capisce QS team will further strengthen Turner & Townsend’s team of 1,100 cost and project management experts across Australia and New Zealand. Luke MacConnell will lead the cost and commercial management team in South Australia under the direction of Gail Rogowsky, cost and commercial management lead for Turner & Townsend across Australia and New Zealand.
